This is not so much a lucid and illuminating work of scholarship as a kind of poetic and distortive acid trip. Each page of writing could be replaced by a simple exclamation point. The title is intensely misleading. Don't waste your money.
Happiness is where the "I" isn't....Before even starting chapter one , I had to close the book to reflect on such a profound statement . Later, I read a quote from Buddha , saying no one ever entered nirvana . Once again, I find it necessary to close the book and reflect .This is a deep , profound , life changing book that isn't a quick read. I highly suggest reading only one section per day .

Dr. Stephen Wolinsky demonstrates step by step, the how and why of NIRVANA meaning EXTINCTION.Wolinsky uses startling quotes from the Buddha, " you might not necessarily be aware of your own enlightenment" and from Nagarjuna, "there never was a Buddha who taught anything" to show the underlying nothing which is not nothing as a thing, but rather a word to describe what is not. ... BRILLIANT!
