I am very pleased with this book. It does contain many recipes but what is more important for me is how helpful the book is. Writer walks you through step by step in how to set your Crock Pot Express for use. For me that is the most important thing about this book. I, like many, have been very intimidated by the Crock Pot Express. I read over and over the manual/instruction booklets. For some reason I just could not comprehend anything. This book has put me at ease and given me confidence on using the Crock Pot Express. I highly recommend this book.
Got no information when I bought the pot so got this to get a better idea on how to use. Was pretty good
I have always been afraid of pressure cookers but it was a easy and cooks in a snap! I love the fact that this crockpot has a Teflon pot instead of crockery....so much easier than scrubbing the crock one ! you sauté your meat in it and then add other ingredients!! loveit
I just received my Crock Pot Express as a gift for my birthday. I love it to death, so far. But I'm just learning how to cook on it, so.....I now have a cookbook to help me out along the way.I've only done a couple of recipes from this cookbook so far, so I'm not going to claim that it is the over-the-top best cookbook I ever read, but I will say that the two I tried, both main dishes, were easy to prepare, the directions were very plain and well written, and the end result was very, very good.But as to the cookbook, I ran through the table of contents before deciding to purchase this. I went through the different sections, noting that I couldn't find anything they forgot. There are conversion charts, instruction on the operation of the Crock Pot Express itself, wonderful recipes for every type of dish you would want to make with it. The book also contains troubleshooting tips, ways to clean the Crock Pot Express, and even a section on how to freeze what you've just cooked. This book is loaded with tips that should make your "cooking life" easier. I'm a fan.
This is exactly what I needed for my crockpot instapot. Found family recipes that I used right away and the family was delighted with.
No index, no pictures, and many of the instructions reference "this one" or "these" like they are talking about a specific accessory, but do not show either the accessory or a link to see it. Would not recommend.

I won’t be buying a kindle version of a cookbook ever again! Too hard to flip back and forth in the pages.I was expecting some simple, home style recipes. These are not.
