I have never read such a simple book on nursing course. This book contains deep discussion on Lab Values, liver and kidney function and many other lab tests. You will never miss any point once you went through this book. The lab value questions and answers in the book are very accurate and it will make your learning process much easy. This book is highly recommended for all NCLEX students.
There were typos in the book. The answer are displayed under the question and sometimes the wrong ones are written with rationales that supported different answers. It needs some serious editing to be a more effective study tool.
I am a second semester ADN student, and my teachers recommended that all students get an NCLEX book and start practicing questions. I really like this book because it helps me to understand what type of questions to expect on the NCLEX and how to "break down" the questions and answers to figure out the best answer.
